We all know that web accessibility is a good thing and that it's important that website are accessible. What most of us don't know is what accessibility on the web means, how our decisions affect our users, and even who our users are. In his keynote talk, Manuel Matuzović brings you closer to web accessibility by introducing you to user groups and ways of accessing the web you may haven't considered yet.

In this full-day workshop you take the first steps in automated and manual accessibility testing.
What can you expect from this workshop?
You learn about the most common testing tools, the difference between automatic and manual testing, how to use the keyboard to discover accessibility bugs, screen reader basics, and how to integrate accessibility testing in your day-to-day development workflow.
Target group:
Web developers (front-end and back-end), UI designers and anyone who has at least a basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
Previous knowledge:
At least HTML and CSS Basics.
